Using Your Account
Opening a new account is simple. You will only need to register one time for this FREE MEMBERSHIP, and each time you return, all you have to do is remember your password and sign in as a "Returning Customer." No more credit cards, no more entering all your personal information. All your information is completely confidential and never shared with any 3rd party.
Your Account History
After you place your first order at DVDO, from that point on you will always be able to check on your Order History to review billing records, pending returns or check on the many movie titles you may have seen before.
Shopping Cart And Movie Availability
When you find a DVD you'd like to rent and keep for a full seven days, or purchase and keep for good, simply click the Rent It or Purchase button. You will then see your movie placed in your Shopping Cart confirming your selection where you can then proceed to our secure server (SSL) checkout system. It's that easy!
Same Day Rental Shipping
All Rental orders received before 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (1:00 p.m. Pacific Time) Monday - Friday will be SHIPPED THE SAME DAY. Individual Purchases and Purchase with Rentals included usually ship within 24 hours (if your order includes both a rental and purchase, your order will ship once the purchased item is available). Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays will ship the next business day.
Out Of Stock Rentals
We strive to always have rental titles available, however, due to the popularity of certain titles, it may occur that we will be out of what you're looking for. We promise to do our best to ensure that we always have what you're looking for. Many titles that are "currently out of stock" are often returned within 24 hours. You can also create Your Wish List which will give you the ability to be notified by email when out of stock titles you would like to rent have been placed back in stock. If you cannot find a particular title that you may be looking for, contact us with your request and we'll get back to you to let you know if we can find it, or get it for you special order.
Shipping and Delivery
All rental orders are shipped using First Class Mail via the U.S. Postal Service. Your movies are usually delivered within 2-4 business days of shipping them from DVDO. Orders to the west coast and some rural areas throughout the country can experience delays of an extra day or two depending upon postal service traffic. If your order appears to be delayed, simply email us and we will be happy to extend your rental period.

NOTE: Purchases ship via USPS Media Mail for Free. Your packages will take between 5 -12 working days to be delivered, but remember, the shipping is 100% free!
Returning Your Movies
You will ALWAYS have a minimum of 7 days to enjoy your rentals. Here's how it works - - once you receive your movies, just remember to drop them into a U.S. mailbox by the date indicated on the package which will ALWAYS be 7 full days AFTER the day you receive it. If your order has been delayed in shipment for any reason, please contact us and we will be happy to adjust your return date.
We allow up to 5 days for your return to arrive back after your due date. A late fee of $4 per week per movie will be charged to your credit card if the return is postmarked AFTER the Return Date Sticker on the back of the package. ALWAYS keep the original pre-paid mailer intact. It will be used to return your movies back to us.

DVD Billing And Pricing
All DVDs at DVDO are $3 per movie per week ($4 for select titles). Shipping is FREE for ALL Purchases and Rentals regardless of the amount of movies in your order (minimum of 2 rentals per order - maximum limit of 4).
Payment
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Your credit card will be charged through our secure server system at the time of the transaction. NO MOVIE TITLES WILL APPEAR ON YOUR BILLING RECORD, only the approved charge for the rental made out to DVD Overnight, Inc. Unfortunately Checks, Money Orders, Debit Cards and Check Cashing Cards are not be accepted. You must be 18 years of age to place an order.
When opening your account, please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you).
Incorrect information may cause your account to be rejected. DVDO will only ship orders to the cardholder.
NOTICE: It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught willfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted. Each electronic entry carries the computer coding of the internet provider through which the individual user can and will be traced in such a circumstance.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is charged only on orders sent within the state of Pennsylvania. Orders sent within the state will be charged 6% sales tax. Pennsylvania State law requires that we charge a sales tax on the full amount of the order except for shipping and handling which are not considered part of the product.

1. How Do Online Rentals Work At DVDOvernight?
DVDO works just like your local video store. You can browse through thousands of titles and select your movies by simply clicking on the 'Rent It" button. Your DVDs will then be added to your shopping cart. When you're ready to place your order, click the "Checkout" button. First time customers will want to register as a "New Customer," returning customers will simply sign-in as a "Returning Customer." Follow the easy checkout process until your order has been completed. You will recieve an email confirming your order and an additional email confirming the exact shipping time. Your DVDs will soon arrive in your mailbox in a pre-paid, pre-addressed custom envelope for easy return. It's that easy!
2. How Much Does It Cost To Rent?
DVD rentals are $3 for a 7-day rental period from the day you receive them in the mail ($4 for select titles). Shipping is absolutely FREE regardless of the amount of movies in your order (minimum of 2 movies per order - maximum of 4).
3. How Long Will It Take To Get My Movies?
We always ship rentals on the same day that you place your order, as long as you place your order before 4pm est Mon-Fri (sale items usually ship within 24 hours). You should expect to recieve your order within 2-4 days. Due to postal delays on occasion, orders to the west coast and some rural areas can experience a delay of an additional 1-2 days. If your order appears to be delayed, simply notify us by email and we will be happy to extend your rental period.
4. How About Previously Viewed DVDs For Sale?
All Previously Viewed DVDs are sold in their original cases that the movies came in direct from the studio. Each disc is individually tested prior to shipping with special digital diagnostic equipment to ensure that the disc has no defects and will play as if brand new. Shipping is also free for all Previously Viewed Sale items.
5. What If I Can't Find A Title Or Movies Are Out Of Stock?
New movies may not be released on DVD yet. When a movie studio announces that it will offer a DVD, we normally add it to the store. Once a DVD is available, you will be able to add it to your shopping cart (provided you have returned your current orders). We constantly update releases as they come in, but remember, we cannot ship a DVD before its release date and should we not carry something you're looking for, email us and we'll do our best to get it in for you! When a movie shows as "Currently Out Of Stock," it means other customers have rented all available copies. We update inventory 7-days-a-week and titles are rarely out of stock for more than 24 hours.
6. What Happens If I Don't Return My DVDs On Time?
For every 7-day rental period that your order is late, there is an additional charge of $4 per movie title. DVDO will send you an email reminder to return your order on the day your order is due to be dropped back in the mail and after the first and second weeks of being late. After 3 weeks you will be charged for the full retail price of each movie in your order and all late fees will be waived.
7. How Do You Keep My Transactions Safe?
At DVDOvernight we understand how important secure transactions are to our customers. DVDOvernight uses a 100% secure server. When you place your orders, the secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you enter before it is even transmitted to us. In addition, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access. As a DVD rental company, return business is very important to us and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. 8. How Do I Report A Shipping Problem Or DVD That Won't Play?
If you have any shipping problems, such as delayed arrival of your rentals or incorrect shipments, you should report them to our Customer Service representatives. You can also check your account status to see which movies you have out and which movies you've returned. If you have any problems getting a DVD to play properly, you MUST contact us via email BEFORE your order is returned (notes included in return packages cannot be processed for credit to your account) .
9. Are Titles Available For Purchase New Or Used?
ALL titles available for purchase at DVDOvernight are guaranteed brand new, never been viewed, opened or tampered with in any way. ALL titles available for purchase come in the original shrink-wrap packaged by the film studio! Previously Viewed (PV) DVDs are always indicated as "used" on the tilte pages when available.
10. I Can't View The Movie Previews, What Should I Do?
To be able to view the on-demand video previews, you will need to download and install the Windows Media Player. You will only need to do this one time only. Once the player has been installed on your computer (PC or Mac), simply click upon the link for the appropriate speed of your connection (56K, 100K, Cable Modem, DSL or LAN). It's that easy!
Order Limits And Late Fees
Each DVDO customer is limited to 2 "un-returned" orders out at any one time. There is a minimum of TWO movies per order with a maximum of FOUR. Until your order(s) have been returned, you will be unable to rent any additional orders. You can always check your Order History to confirm the return of your order(s).
You will always have a minimum of 7 days to enjoy your rentals. Here's how it works - - once you recieve your movies, just remember to drop them into a U.S. mailbox by the date indicated on the package which is usually up to 7-9 days from the day you recieve it.
We allow between 3-5 days for your return to arrive back after your due date. A late fee of $4 per week per movie will be charged to your credit card if the return is postmarked after the RETURN DATE STICKER on the back of the package.

AFTER 3 weeks we will automatically charge your credit card the full Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for ALL MOVIES NOT RETURNED.
Your Wish List
Your Wish List is designed for you to personalize your shopping experience. Essentially you are creating your own DVD Bestsellers area that only you will be able to see. By simply clicking on the "Add To Wish List" button, you place that particular movie in your list. Your Wish List is there to remind you of movies that you may want to rent in the future. If the selection is "Out Of Stock" at the time you add it to your list, you can click on the Email Notification button which will automatically send you out a personal email when the title is placed back in stock. NOTE: due to popular demand, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that the movie will still be in stock by the time you come back to DVDO to place your order. Remember, membership is FREE and it costs you absolutely nothing to create Your Wish List.
Credit Card Security And Privacy
Confidentiality is everything to us. Your name will never end up on a mailing list as a result of ordering from DVD Overnight. We NEVER release information about our customers to a third party. Also, film titles NEVER appear on your billing record. Your charge will reflect only the amount of your approved transaction credited to DVD Overnight, Inc.
